The Elections Section is a part of the Walla Walla County Auditor's Office.  We are responsible for administering elections in the county for all federal, state, county, municipal, and special districts.  Elections typically occur three times per year in February or March, September, and in November.  Other elections are scheduled as needed.

In conjunction with running elections, the department is also responsible for voter registration. Walla Walla County has approximately 30,000 voters. Voters are assigned precincts based on their address and said information is filed into the voter registration system. As information on a voter changes, the voter registration files must be updated.

Walla Walla County is currently all vote-by-mail.
