 Breastfeeding Support

In addition to the many ways that the Walla Walla Public Health Department and the WIC program help and support breastfeeding in our community, one way is by the management of the Blue Mountain Breastfeeding Coalition.

We are a group of health care professionals, including physicians, midwives, nurse practitioners, nurses, social workers, nutritionists, and moms who are dedicated to doing all we can to help mothers nurse their babies.  We have members from all the medical clinics in Walla Walla, Waitsburg, and Dayton, the two hospitals, La Leche League, the Health Departments in Walla Walla and Dayton, and the WIC programs in Walla Walla, Dayton, Waitsburg, and Milton-Freewater.  We meet three times per year and anyone is welcome.
