The Walla Walla County Corrections Facility  is located at 300 W. Alder, Walla Walla, WA. The main entrance is at the corner of 5th and Alder. The County Jail, constructed in 1982, serves as a correctional facility for the Police Departments of Walla Walla and College Place as well as the Sheriff's Office. Originally constructed as a 44-bed facility, recent and ongoing expansions have raised the capacity considerably. Average daily population now runs at approximately 80 to 85 persons, and has reached over 100 on occasion. The jail is staffed with a jail captain, 21 jail officers and a cook.

The corrections facility also runs several alternative programs, such as electronic monitoring and partial confinement. Inmates can also earn "good time" (a reduction in the length of their sentence) by working as a trustee or on the jail's work crew.
