Emergency Managment Plan (CEMP)
Effective March 2009

This plan establishes responsibilities for agencies and organizations within Walla Walla County for preparation for, response to, recovery from, and mitigation the effects of emergencies and disasters.

The plan is an all hazard plan that is promulgated by Walla Walla County Board of Commissioners and Mayors of the participating cities within the county and applies to all local public and private entities and organizations participating and included in the plan.  This plan is an all-hazards approach to emergency and disaster situations likely to occur in the county, as described in the Walla Walla County Hazard Identification and Vulnerability Analysis (HIVA).

The completed plan was approved by the State of Washington Department of the Military, Emergency Management Division, and has been promulgated by Walla Walla County, City of Walla Walla, City of College Place, City of Waitsburg, and City of Prescott elected officials.

Walla Walla County CEMP was formatted to comply with the National Response Framework.
