Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN):
This program is for children birth through 21 years of age and families in need of nursing case management for special needs children. This program has no financial criteria for assistance.
The Children with Special Health Care Needs Program can:
- Help families access needed services for their child, such as medical and other interventions
- Refer families to health insurance programs and information, both private and state funded Medicaid programs
- Help families help each other through parent support organizations
- Help with concerns such as feeding, nutrition, growth, development and behavior
- Assist with accessing screening and assessment for your child
